The North Dakota Change Name of Agricultural College Initiative, also known as Initiative 4, was on the November 4, 1958 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have authorized the state to change the name of the North Dakota Agricultural College to the North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.[2]
