The North Dakota School District Reorganization Initiative, also known as Initiative 5, was on the November 4, 1958 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have required the reorganization of those school districts that did not operate a high school, and caused them to be annexed to districts that did operate high schools.[2]
