The North Dakota Requirements for Constitutional Amendment Passage Initiative, also known as Amendment to Section 202, was on the November , 5 1918 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] This measure allowed initiated constitutional amendments to be passed by a simple majority of voters in an election. Since the creation of an initiated constitutional amendment process in 1914 through 1918, constitutional initiatives required legislative approval following a majority vote by electors.[2]
