North Okaw and Humboldt Township Road Bonds (February 2010)

There were two North Okaw and Humboldt Township Road Bonds measures on the February 2 ballot in Coles County for voters in their respective townships.

Both measures passed

The North Okaw bond was approved with 151 (86.8%) in favor and 23 (13.2%) against.

The Humboldt bond was approved with 207 (86.6%) in favor and 32 (13.4%) against.[1]

The Okaw township sought to create a bond in the amount of $150,000,000 in order to help repair and construct roads in the township.

The Humboldt township was also looking to create a bond in the amount of $150,000,000 for repair and construction of roads in their township.[2]
