The Board of Commissioners of Northwest Park and Recreation District No. 2 adopted Resolution No. 2011-01 concerning a proposition to impose a property tax levy of $0.10 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation for a six (6) year period (2012-2017) to fund staffing, operations, maintenance and capital improvements in order to provide programs, an activity center and park and recreational improvements for people of all ages in the greater Blaine-Birch Bay area.[3]
