Two Norton Fire & Emergency Services Levy Measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Norton which is in Summit and Wayne Counties.

Both measures were defeated

The first levy measures sought to replace the current expiring emergency service levy with one set at a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to help pay for emergency medical services in the city.

The second levy measure sought to replace the current fire protection levy with one set at a rate of $2.60 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for fire protection services in the city.[1]
