A Norton City School District Bond Measure was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the school district of Norton which is in both Summit and Wayne Counties.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,478 (40.79%)
  • NO 2,145 (59.21%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $12 million which would be supplemented by funds from the state to construct a new high school for the district. This had been the third, and last time, the district asked voters to approve this construction bond. This bond would have also implemented a 2 mill levy on local property taxes to help pay for it.[2]
