A Novesta Township Road Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Novesta, which is in Tuscola County.

This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for road paving costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within the Township of Novesta be renewed at 1 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of four (4) years, 2013 to 2017 inclusive, the funds to be used to provide ditching, grading, graveling, and paving of roads within the Township of Novesta; and shall the Township levy such millage for said purpose, thereby raising in the first year an estimated $31,757.00?[1][2]
