A Nucla Town Sales Tax Increase measure was on the November 1, 2011 ballot in the town of Nucla which is in Montrose County.

This measure sought to increase the current sales tax by a rate of 1 percent for a continuing period of time in order to further pay for medical services in the town as well as capital improvements and equipment costs for medical care.[2]

Current Statewide

A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
