Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

The City Council of the City of Ocean Shores adopted Resolution No. 663 concerning property taxes to support the City library. This proposition would permit the City to increase its regular property tax levy by $0.287 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to replace an expiring library levy lid lift, resulting in a regular property tax levy of $2.637 per $1,000 for collection in 2013 ($3.137 per $1,000 if proposition two also is approved). These levy amounts would also be used to compute the City's levy limits for 2014 as allowed by Chapter 84.55 RCW.[3]
