Ohio Issue 1 (1975) was a measure regarding the valuation of land devoted exclusively to outdoor recreation. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature. It failed, with 39.7% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

To authorize laws to be passed which permit land that is devoted exclusively to outdoor recreation to be valued for tax purposes at its current value for recreational use, except land which is utilized and controlled or owned by an organization or person who discriminates against or violates the civil rights of individuals (Art. II, Sec. 36a)[1]
