Ohio Issue 2 was on the November 2, 1954 ballot in Ohio as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. Issue 2 would have set four-year terms for legislators. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature.

  • Yes: 945,373 (46.7%)
  • No: 1,081,099 (53.3%) Defeatedd

The ballot label was, "Four-year terms for members of the Ohio Senate and House of Representatives (Art. XI, Secs. 1, 3, 6, 9, 10 and 11)[1]
