The Ohio Re-Districting Initiative, appearing on the ballot as Issue No. 2, was an initiated constitutional amendment that appeared on the 1981 ballot in Ohio to "abolish the present methods of establishing general assembly and congressional districts, to create the commission for reapportionment and redistricting, and to require the commission to approve the plan which is most compact. It was defeated.
