The Ohio Legislative Salaries Amendment, also known as Issue 1, appeared on the May 7, 1974 ballot in Ohio as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] This amendment would have equalized the pay of all members of the Ohio General Assembly.
