Ohio Issue 2 was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Ohio was a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.

  • Yes: 1,281,941 (54.2%) Approveda
  • No: 1,083,814 (45.8%)

The ballot statement was, "Allows the General Assembly to regulate prison labor by law; removes constitutional restrictions on sale of prison-made goods (Amends Sec. 41 of Art. II)".
