A Ohio Slot Machines at Horse Tracks ballot measure did not make the 2011 statewide ballot in Ohio.^[1]

It would have been a veto referendum seeking to repeal a casino implementation bill, Ohio House Bill 519, signed into law by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland on June 10, 2010 following approval of the bill by the Ohio State Legislature. HB 519 contained "implementing provisions" for Ohio Casino Initiative, Issue 3 (2009). Issue 3, approved by 52.9% of the state's voters on November 3, 2009, authorizes the building of one casino each in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo.

Horse track owners in Ohio objected to the legislation because they believed it would harm attendance at the state's horse tracks, since HB 519 and Issue 3 don't allow slots at horse tracks.
