Oklahoma Charter Amendments to United Nations, State Question 344 (1951)
From Ballotpedia
Oklahoma State Question 344 was on the November 7, 1951 ballot in Oklahoma as a legislatively-referred state statute, where it was defeated.
If SQ 344 had been approved, it would have required the Governor of Oklahoma to inform the President of the United States that it was "the wish of the people of Oklahoma" that the Charter of the United Nations be strengthened so that the United Nations would become "a world federal government able to prevent war".
