Olmsted Falls City School District tax levy vote, 2009

The Olmsted Falls City School District tax levy appeared on the February 3, 2009 ballot in Cuyahoga County for voters in the Olmsted Falls City School District. The levy was defeated by voters.Defeatedd[1]

The question facing voters was, "An additional tax for the benefit of the Olmsted Falls City School District for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 9.9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.99 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2009, first due in calendar year 2010."

Voters rejected a smaller tax issue on the November 2008 ballot.

This measure would cost a property owner $303 per $100,000 of market value.[2]
