Nine ballot measures were certified for the 2012 ballot in the state of Oregon.

• Four measures were approved and five were defeated.
• Two measures were legislatively referred constitutional amendments, four were initiated state statutes, and the three were initiated constitutional amendments.
• The deadline for filing signatures for the November 2012 ballot was July 6, 2012.. According to the Oregon Secretary of State (dead link) a total of 43 initiatives have been filed as of January 1, 2012.
• The 2011 legislative session began February 1 and ended on June 30.
• The 2012 state legislative session began on February 1, 2012 and ended on March 6, 2012. Legislative referrals could have been sent to the 2012 ballot during this time.

CISS	No Public Resources To Collect Political Funds	Elections	Prohibits individuals/entities from using "public resource" to collect funds.
CISS	Judicial Elections Initiative	Judiciary	Prohibits labeling judge as "incumbent" on ballot if study shows advantage.
CICA	Motor Vehicle Tax Voter Approval Initiative	Taxes	Requires voter approval of taxes and fees on motor vehicle use, ownership and fuel.
CICA	Right to Private Healthcare Initiative	Healthcare	Limits the regulation of private healthcare service purchases.
CISS	Renewable Energy and Fuel Development and Security Initiative	Energy	Creates a commission that is authorized to develop, generate, sell, buy, distribute electricity & renewable energy.
CICA	Independent Redistricting Commission Initiative	Redistricting	Repeals legislative redistricting by the legislature.
CICA	Complete Ballot Text Initiative	Elections	Requires that the full text of proposed initiatives appear on the ballot.
CICA	Petition Signature Initiative	Direct democracy measures	Prohibits election laws from excluding qualified voters' signatures on initiative or referendum petitions.
CISS	Estate Tax Exemption Initiative	Taxes	Exempts some income taxpayers and farm and ranch owners from estate tax.
CICA	Prohibit Estate Tax Initiative	Taxes	Prohibits any inheritance or estate taxes on property transferred due to a person's death.
CISS	Castle Doctrine Initiative	Law enforcement	Expands laws allowing defensive use of deadly force against adult trespassers.

CICA	Personal Income Tax "Kicker" Repeal Initiative	Taxes	Would eliminate personal income tax "kicker" refund for taxpayers in top one percent adjusted gross income.
CISS	New Income Tax Brackets Initiative (3)	Taxes	Would create new tax brackets for annual income $125,000 to $500,000, over $500,000.
