The Oregon Funding for Psychiatric Hospitals, Schools and Prisons Bill, also known as Measure 1, was on the June 4, 1906 ballot in Oregon as a veto referendum, where it was approved, thus upholding the legislation. The measure maintained funds for psychiatric hospitals, deaf, mute and blind schools, penitentiaries, universities, agricultural colleges and other schools.[1]

Measure 1 of 1906 was the very first veto referendum to appear on a statewide ballot in the United States.
