Oregon Ballot Measure 2 is a citizen initiated state statute filed by chief petitioners Bill Sizemore and Timothy R. Trickey in 2006. The goal of the initiative is to dictate that no appointed judges be considered incumbent in elections following appointment.
The measure would thus prohibit the labeling of any appointed judges as "Incumbents" on state ballots.
Oregon Ballot Measure 2 is one of 29 initiatives filed by Sizemore for the 2008 ballot. As of October 2007, Sizemore's website did not include Ballot Measure 2 as one that he is actively pursuing.[1]
