Oregon Ballot Measure 43, also known as the "Teen Abortion Notification Initiative", was on the November 7, 2006 ballot as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated.

Measure 43, if it had been approved, would have required the medical provider give 48-hour notice to an unemancipated minor's parents before providing an abortion. The initiative applies to girls 15, 16, and 17 years old, as current law already requires parental permission for girls under 15 to have an abortion.
