Ballot measure 43 (2006), also known as "Teen Abortion Notification" is an initiated state statute that would have required the medical provider give 48-Hour Notice to the unemancipated minor's parents before providing an abortion. The initiative applies to girls 15, 16, and 17 years old, as current law already requires parental permission for girls under 15 to have an abortion. It was defeated.
