The Oregon Increase Sales Tax and Eliminate School Property Tax Question, also known as Measure 5E, was on the May 15, 1990 ballot in Oregon as an advisory question, where it was defeated. The measure demonstrated voter disapproval for increasing the sales tax to eliminate homeowner school property taxes.[1]
