The question on the ballot:
| Shall The Charter Township of Oronoko be authorized to levy a tax annually upon the taxable value of all property subject to ad valorem taxation in an amount not to exceed 4.000 mills ($4.00 for each $1,000 of taxable value) for each of the three (3) years, 2012, 2013 and 2014 within The Oronoko Charter Township for the purpose of defraying the cost of providing police services, including, but not limited to, the maintenance and operation of the Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department, the purchase and housing of police apparatus and equipment. |
