The good

  • Meeting minutes, agendas and resolutions are available dating back to 2000.[1] There is also a calendar detailing the times and locations of meetings.[2]
  • There is a public records database hosted on the site.[3] The County Clerk provides an email, office address and phone number.[4]
  • Elected officials are listed with an office address, phone number and personalized email.[4]
  • Each department lists who is charge and provides an office address, phone number and email.[5]
  • Land use code is provided on the site.[6] There are also permit applications on the site.[7]
  • The most current budget is posted on the site.[8]
  • The treasurer provides information on tax payments.[9] And the Assessor provides additional information on property taxes.[10]

The bad

  • Budgets and audits are not provided for the past 3-5 years.
  • Approved contract statements are not available for vendors above $10,000.
  • If the county engaged in lobbying activities or if it is a member of lobbying associations is not disclosed. Nor is the total cost lobbying activities or membership dues for associations available.
