A Palm Beach County Property Tax Exemption Question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in Palm Beach County, where it was approved.

This measure sought to continue to allow the county to provide property tax exemptions for new or expanding businesses in the county. The current tax break incentive would expire in August 2014, if this measure to renew it does not get approved. The goal of the tax break is to allow for job creation and county growth through property tax exemptions.[1]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County be authorized to grant, pursuant to s. 3 Article VII of the State Constitution, property tax exemptions to new businesses and expansions of existing businesses that are expected to create new, full-time jobs in Palm Beach County?[2]
