Pam Jochum (b. September 26, 1954) is a Democratic member of the Iowa Senate, representing District 14.
Education
Jochum earned her BA from Loras College.
Professional experience
Jochum is a Residence Hall Director and Public Information and Marketing Director for Loras College.
Political experience
Jochum was Statewide Co-Chair for United States Senator Tom Harkin's Re-Election Committee. In 1980 she was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention. She was Chair of the Dubuque County Democratic Central Committee in 1982. She was also Floor Whip at the Democratic National Convention in 1984. She served in the Iowa State House of Representatives from 1992 to 2008. She then joined the Iowa State Senate in 2008. She has served in that position since, representing the 14th district.
