Park Ridge Police Station Vote (2009)
Two Park Ridge Police Station advisory ballot propositions were on the April 7, 2009 ballot in Cook County for voters in the City of Park Ridge.[1],[2]
The first, asking if a new police station should be built at a cost of $16.5 million (with unknown costs for interest, operating expenses and the purchase of land), was defeated with 83% of votes against it. The second, which added detail to the financing and purchasing plans, was also defeated with rejection from 53% of voters.
