Patrick McManus was a 2014 Conservative Party candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 16th Congressional District of New York.[1] Although he filed with the New York Board of Elections, the board rejected his petition as invalid, taking him off of the ballot for the primary election.[1]

McManus was a 2012 Conservative Party candidate for District 80 of the New York State Assembly.

McManus was previously a Conservative Party candidate for District 83 of the New York State Assembly. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election was on November 2.

McManus planned to run in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 16th District. McManus sought the Conservative Party nomination in the primary on June 24, 2014, but the New York Board of Elections declared his petition invalid, preventing him from running in the primary.

2012

McManus ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 80. He ran unopposed in the Conservative primary on September 13, 2012. He was defeated by Mark Gjonaj in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
