District 134 was vacant, and an April 24 special electionwas held to fill the seat. Slattery was also a candidate in that election. The vacancy was created when Douglas Reichley (R) resigned after being elected Lehigh County judge in November 2011.[1][2]

Special election
Slattery was defeated by Ryan Mackenzie (R) in the special election on April 24, 2012. Party ward leaders nominated candidates for the election.[3][4][5]
General election
Slattery was running in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 134. Slattery ran unopposed in the Democratic primary but no longer appears on the list of general election candidates.[6]
2010
Slattery was unopposed in the May 18 Democratic primary but lost to incumbent Republican Douglas Reichley in the November 2 general election.[7]
