Paul Aizley (b. 1936) is a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly, representing the 41st District since 2008. As of the 2013 session, Aizley serves as Speaker Pro Tempore.

Aizley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University; his Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona; and his Doctorate from Arizona State University. He is a professor of mathematics. He and his wife, Sari, have seven children: Adrienne, Jody, Sophia, David, Matthew, Stephanie and Jonathan (deceased).

Aizley won re-election in the 2012 election for Nevada State Assembly, District 41. Aizley ran unopposed in the June 12 primary election and defeated Phil Regeski (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3][4]

The Nevada Policy Research Institute, a Nevada-based conservative-libertarian think tank, releases a "Legislative Report Card" evaluating members of the Nevada State Legislature on "each lawmaker's voting record on legislation impacting the degree of economic freedom and education reform." Bills determined by the Institute to be of greater significance are weighted accordingly. According to the Institute, "a legislator with a score above 50 is considered to be an ally of economic liberty".[8]
