Film incentives
Campbell supports increasing taxpayer-funded film incentives to organizations working in South Carolina. On February 26, 2013 the South Carolina Senate Finance Committee passed legislation that would increase incentives to film companies to work in South Carolina.[2]
Currently, South Carolina offers a 15 percent rebate to film companies on spending and wages in South Carolina. If enacted, the new legislation would increase that level to 30 percent for supplies and 20 percent for wages (25 percent for a South Carolina resident). The rebate is only available if a company spends more than $1 million.[3]
