Paul Chabot was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 31st Congressional District of California.[1] Paul Chabot lost the general election on November 4, 2014. Following the election, Chabot announced plans to run again in 2016.[2]

Chabot ran unsuccessfully for District 63 of the California State Assembly in 2010.

Biography

Chabot began serving in the military in 2001, first at the Office of Naval Intelligence and later with the Defense Intelligence Agency. He is an Iraq War veteran and currently serves with the United States Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander.[3]

Chabot announced plans to again seek election to California's 31st Congressional District in 2016.[2]

Chabot ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 31st District. Chabot and Pete Aguilar (D) advanced past the blanket primary on June 3, 2014.[4] Chabot was then defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014.[5]
