On November 4, 2008, Ingbretson won re-election by finishing second for the two-seat Grafton District 5 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, receiving 1,451 votes behind Republican Roderick Ladd (1,464) and ahead of Democrats Charles Chandler (1,397) and Thomas Friel (911).[4]
Ingbretson raised $1,015 for his campaign, against $300 by Ladd, $1,751 by Chandler, and $525 by Friel.[5]
