On November 4, 2008, Ingersoll won re-election by finishing third for the four-seat Coos District 4 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 2,879 votes behind Democrats Robert Theberge (3,283) and Lucy Mears (3,038) and ahead of Democrat Yvonne Thomas (2,803), Republican Nathan Morin (1,455), write-in Weeks (306), and "Others" (26).[1]
Follow the Money reported no campaign contributions for Ingersoll or his opponents.[2]
