Polson ran in the 2010 election for California State Assembly District 33. Polson was defeated by Republican K.H. Achadjian in the general election on November 2, 2010. Polson did not run in the primary election on June 8, 2010.[3][4]

Personal

Polson currently resides on the Central Coast of California in the 5 Cities area with his new wife Michelle.

He is the son of Gail Lightfoot, one of the first Libertarian party members.
