Paula Dockery (b. June 6, 1961) is a Republican member of the Florida Senate, representing District 15.
Education
Dockery earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1983. She went on to receive her MA in Mass Communications from the University of Florida in 1987.
Professional experience
Dockery was a Senior Underwriter for State Farm Insurance. She also worked as Vice President for Dockery Management Corporation. She is a former President of Cardinal Insurance. She is currently a Citrus/Cattle Person and an Insurer.
Political experience
Dockery was on the Polk County Republican Executive Committee. She served in the Florida State House of Representatives from 1994 to 2000. She then joined the Florida State Senate in 2003 and has served in that position since. She was Senate Majority Whip from 2002 to 2004 and from 2006 to 2008. She represents the 15th district.
