This measure sought to renew the current health department levy which is set at a rate of $.05 per $100 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for health programs offered by the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of PAULDING COUNTY for the purpose of PROVIDING FOR THE HEALTH PROGRAMS OF THE PAULDING COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 10 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
