Paulina Miranda is a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 8 of the California State Senate. She ran unsuccessfully for District 16 of the California State Senate in a 2013 special election.[1]


Miranda earned her B.S. from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Tom Berryhill (R) and Paulina Miranda (D) were unopposed in the blanket primary. Berryhill will face Miranda in the general election.[3][4]
