Peggy Wilson (b. September 8, 1945) is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 33 since 2001. She served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 1989-1993. [1]

Wilson is a Registered Nurse, currently working at the TOR Clinic/Wrangel Medical Center. She previously worked as a school nurse at Western Rockingham City Schools, owned Sasco Body Toning and Health Care Products, and was a Regional Manager at Modern Income Life.

Wilson is a member of a number of organizations, including the Alaska Federation of Business and Professional Women, National Conference on State Legislatures, National Rifle Association, and American Nurses Association.[2]

Wilson ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Alaska House of Representatives District 33. She defeated Patricia Mackey and Agnes Moran in the August 28, 2012, Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6] Wilson won re-election in the general election.[7]

Wilson won re-election to the 2nd District Seat in 2010. She defeated Steven A. Samuelson in the August 24 primary.[8] She then defeated Reber P. Stein in the November 2 general election.[9]
