Pennsylvania GOP is concerned about people registering twice to vote. The GOP is concerned with both students who are registered in their home states and at school, as well as people who have intentionally attempted to register twice in order to vote twice. [1]

Wrongdoing vs. Confusion

"I think a lot of the college students -- I mean they're not doing this deliberately -- they've been caught up in the Obama euphoria, and they just rushed over and they registered. I'm not concerned about fraud on the part of college students. I think they do this with the best intentions. What they need to do is they need to be told that you can't be registered twice, and you can't vote twice," said State GOP Chairman Robert Gleason.

Gleason says party leaders are more concerned about fraudulent registrations: "We are not going to stand by and allow voter fraud to happen this fall. And I'm anxious to see what happens in Philadelphia this time in these Democrat districts, especially in (State Senator Vincent) Fumo's district. That should be a real interesting election. We're going to take a real hard look at that one."[1]
