Peoria City Charter Amendments, 12 (August 2012)

Twelve Peoria City Charter Amendment measures will be on the August 28, 2012 ballot in the city of Peoria which is in both Maricopa and Yavapai Counties.
These measures seek to amend the city charter so that voters would have more opportunities to vote on tax changes in the city as well as limit the terms of council members to twelve years. Council members noted that while there are a lot of amendments proposed, they thought each one was important for residents to decide on.[1]
