Personhood signatures fall short in Colorado
DENVER, Colorado: Colorado's proposed Colorado Fetal Personhood Amendment has fallen short of the minimum required 76,047 signatures to qualify it for the November 2, 2010 statewide ballot. However, supporters have until March 15, 2010 to collect additional signatures. A random sample of 5 percent of the submitted signatures revealed 960 invalid signatures; meaning that only 60,357 of the total submitted signatures were valid, according to the Colorado Secretary of State's office.
