On November 4, 2008, Hinkle was re-elected by finishing sixth for the eight-seat Hillsborough District 19 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 6,442 votes, behind Republicans Robert L'Heureux (7,899), Peter Batula (7,007), D.L. Christensen (6,653), Tony Pellegrino (6,606), and Dick Hinch (6,521), and ahead of Democrat James O'Neil (6,105), Republicans Nancy Elliott (6,047) and Richard Barry (6,025), Democrats Rose Arthur (5,250), Andrew Sylvia (5,013), Kimberly Kojak (4,843), Ilene Therrien (4,303), Richard Arthur (4,126), and Evan Fulmer (3,740). [2]
Hinkle raised $195 for his campaign.[3]
