Phil Black is a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of South Carolina.[1] Black defeated Ed Greenleaf by a small margin in the Democratic primary.[2]

He was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of South Carolina.[3]

Black ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent South Carolina's 2nd District. Black was defeated by incumbent Joe Wilson in the June 12 Republican primary. The general election was November 6, 2012.[4]
