He and incumbent Adam Schiff (D) advanced past the June 5, 2012, blanket primary, defeating Jonathan Ryan Kalbfeld (D), Massie Munroe (D), Sal Genovese (D), Garen Mailyan (R), and Jenny Worman (R).
