The Pima Association of Taxpayers was founded in 1989 by individuals who wanted to learn more about local government by educating themselves on budgets and tax entities. They decided to pool their new found knowledge together and start this organization so they could have a collective voice. They are a non-profit organization which strives to educate the community about taxes in Pima county.^[1]

Leadership

This corporation is governed by their Board of Directors and Officers which has ten members.^[2]
