Piru cemetery tax, Measure M, 2008

Measure M, or the Piru cemetery tax measure will appear on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Ventura County, California for voters in Piru.
Since the measure authorizes a new property tax, a 2/3rds vote was required for passage.
The question at hand is whether voters want to approve a new tax to raise funds for upkeep at the Piru Cemetery, and the addition of up to 180 more gravesites.
Measure M was approved with 86% of the vote.
