Placer Hills Fire Protection District Parcel Tax, Measure E (June 2012)
According to the official description of Measure E, "If passed, the tax would be levied on improved parcels with an assessed valuation of $10,000 or more. The exact amount of this special tax would have been variable based on the type and number of residences/commercial buildings on a parcel, as set forth in the District’s Resolution 2012-01A. Measure E also would have allowed for annual price adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index, or 3%, whichever is less.
It was estimated that the amount of the tax in its first year would have been $79/parcel.
A 2/3rds supermajority vote was required for passage.
